Wedding Love Birds

I finally tried an all white card.

I know - ME?!  No color?!  But I LOVE color.

And now I LOVE all white too.  It's amazing how a little simple texture can be so pretty.

And you already know I LOVE Sylvia Zet's digis, ahhhhhhhhh so pretty and perfect and fun to color.

I kind of fell asleep while watching TV last night when I was supposed to be finishing this, oops.  But when I woke up I jumped right in and put it all together.  And get this peeps - that is NOT a Gepetto bow!  It is a mid-air, first-try, 3-in-the-morning bow!  I know!  I know!  More CRAZY!  It just doesn't stop, LOL!!

It takes a village....and a florist!

I thought I was being pretty tricky when I decided to get some little plants to give the teachers for the end of the year, thinking it would be easier and faster since I was running out of time.  But I forget sometimes how many teachers and staff my daughter actually works with - ohmygosh it DOES take a village to raise a child, lol!

I picked up some super pretty Mexican Heather plants and repotted them in simple clay pots that I sprayed with textured copper spray paint.  I made little tags using my Cameo and the print and cut feature.  This is only the second time I've done P&C and I found myself all excited again at how easy and amazing this really is.  I have to do more of it!

For the homeroom teacher I used a bunch of my new Penny Black stamps (my new addiction) and made some super simple blank note cards to go with the plant.

So last year at this time I was whining about my little princess becoming a big 1st grader....well this year I'm whining alot louder with her going into 2nd grade.  Just how did THAT happen?!?!!!   LOL!!

Have a GREAT summer to all you teachers and school staff out there - you've earned it!

Father's Day King

When I saw this King For The Day stamp by Mo Manning I immediately had to get it - it is just too perfect to use for both my hubby and his dad, lol! (and please notice - not a hint of stickles, flowers, or ribbon this time on a manly card, amazing!)

Hope all you dads out there get to enjoy your day as much as this guy looks like he is enjoying his!

Happy Father's Day!

Birthday Bike Ride

Ain't this just the sweetest image?!!  Yep, Sylvia Zet's Wee Stamps again!   And my new Spellbinder die for the mat, but gosh I have such a struggle to get the paper out of the die without tearing - any of you have the same die and same trouble?  Please tell me if there is a trick.  Please!

A biking babe birthday card for my biking peep!  (complete with a Geppetto double bow, heehee!)  Hope you have a great bday!

Love Trip

I know I've said it before but I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sylvia Zet's Wee Stamps!!  Her style is just so beautiful.

Most of the ones I own are digis but this new one called Love Trip is a rubber stamp that I won in the recent 7 day blog hop at Whimsy Inspirations Blog.  OMG I was one of the winners!  Woohoo!  And I had no idea which of Whimsy's 20 new stamps (from six designers) or 5 new dies I had won until I actually opened the package in the mail.  When it came, I walked up the driveway slowly, carefully opening the envie and whispering "Please be a Sylvia stamp...  Please be a Sylvia stamp"...  And it WAS!!  I was absolutely wide eyed THRILLED - ohgosh how did they know?!?!!  LOL!!

And the timing could not be more perfect since dear hubby and I were about to celebrate our anniversary, heehee!!   So here is what I made for him...

Yah I know, not a very masculine card - I just couldn't help myself with the flower border and stickles, but at least I resisted the fluffy ribbon and double bow that I almost attached, lol!

Thank you Sylvia for creating such fantabulous images, and thank you Whimsy for a fun hop & for my new stamp!
