Here we go again...

It's been just over one year since the lights went out at my house for a week from Hurricane Irene, and now we have Hurricane Sandy knocking on our door tonight.  Meteorologists are all in a tizzy trying to make their predictions because they have never seen a storm quite like this - part hurricane, part nor'easter and traveling a crazy path.  In addition to extreme wind damage statewide over the next two days, they are forecasting coastal flooding like Connecticut has not seen in 70 years, if ever.  Scary.

I hope this historic storm that has surprised the weather folks so much this week has a few tricks up her sleeve and just inexplicably wings out to sea instead of making landfall.

But if not, please stay safe my East Coast peeps.  I'll be thinking of you!
