Valentine Mailbox Box Card

I have so much fun giving box cards!  This design is from the new Hearts Aflame svg kit by SVG Cuts.  They are so easy to assemble but have such a "wow" factor, and special people deserve a little extra "wow", don't you think?   ;)

You Melt My Heart

My daughter loves, I mean really LOVES Olaf from Frozen.  So we decided to use him as her theme for her class valentine cards.  I found my inspiration here and used my Silhouette Studio to do half of a print and cut - just the print part.  I started by using an Olaf image that I found in a Google search, added some snowflakes by KI Memories from the Silhouette Design Store, and added the sentiment using the fun LD Unique font, also from the Silhouette Design Store.  And there is a red heart printed under the candy so that when the yummy part is gone, the card is still complete and her classmates and teachers have some really "cool" valentines!

Now if we could just find something to melt all our snow...

A Dozen Roses for my Valentines

Yummy flowers for my peeps tomorrow!

Cute!  Fun!  And Easy-peasy!  Only Mary could combine the best of Valentine's Day: candy + chocolate + flowers + crafting!  This design is from the SVG Cuts' For My Valentine svg kit.

Hopefully the stormy weather holds off long enough tomorrow for me to deliver these to my peeps. I'm getting so very tired of snow this winter.  It is exhausting - both physically and mentally.  Where oh where is Springtime??

You Rock! & Time To Party!

The snow just won't quit here in the northeast, and although the shoveling is good exercise, it is seriously interfering with my crafting time - and that is not nice!

My dear hubby and his dad have birthdays a week apart and I took a quick little snow cleanup break to make a couple simple cards.  I pulled out my Penny Black's that I adore and used my Distress Markers (which feel so foreign to me because I can't remember the last time they saw any lovin'), and I finally got to play with my new stitched dies from My Favorite Things and My Creative Time - LOVE those!

I finally tried masking with the stamps to put the pile of gifts behind the hedgie.  I've always wanted to do that and it really is so easy.  There's Glossy Accents on the balloon, Distress Stickles on the hedgies, and my favorite Star Dust Stickles on the drums.

Well I'm off to finish shoveling before the deep Arctic freeze blows in tomorrow night and turns everything to a block of ice with sub-zero temps.  I've got walled paths everywhere I need them and I am pretty much done except for a patchy layer of icy snow on the deck, which shouldn't take too much more chipping.  Then I can finish my Valentine's before the next storm this weekend....sigh....

It's getting hard to see out my window!
(and there's nothing under that snow except for more snow)

Stay warm peeps!
