The fun begins!

I am making wedding invitations for a Princess Jasmine inspired wedding.  OH. MY. GOSH.  I am thrilled, honored, and humbled that someone would trust me with this important part of their special day, and to be honest I am a bit freaked out too.  But I am having so much fun so far.  900 layers cut and ready to assemble.  There are an additional 180 layers to add once the invitation and RSVP wording has been finalized.

And I found a super cool cheat - gold metallic/shimmery/fine glitter cardstock is uber expensive, and since the gold layers are only for a thin mat, I used simple copy paper and then a Krylon gold leaf pen to edge them.  You can't tell!  $15 in pens vs $85 in cardstock....um, no brainer.  ;)

Now the embossing and gluey fun begins.  I absolutely love assembly line kind of projects, is that weird?

ISO Spellbinders Grand Labels Four

Can you help me?  I have been asked to make wedding invitations and am in need of the Spellbinders LF-190 Grand Labels Four die set.  I can't find them anywhere locally or online, even eBay and Amazon are out.  I guess they have been discontinued.   **pout**

If you notice an online store that has one still in stock, or if you have a set that you no longer use and would consider selling, please let me know ASAP.   I promise to give them lots of love and attention ;)

I know I can cut the shapes with my Cameo, but being able to add the embossed edges would really be a nice touch.

Thank you!

A visitor in the snow

It's snowing.  Again.  Sigh...  But at least today we got a little treat and had this visitor.  He sat high up on that branch for at least twenty minutes, just looking all around.  Probably searching for his lunch, but this gave me enough time to snap a few pics.

I think there's a hint on his face that even he is tired of the snow this winter, lol!
